Schwartz has posted over 17,000 individual spam messages since October of 2000. This does NOT include the hundreds of threats and taunts he has made against those who speak out against his scam. FACT: Arthur H. Schwartz has posted spam messages for his credit card scam using more than 100 different aliases/pseudonyms/"handles". FACT: Arthur H. Schwartz has had dozens of accounts cancelled under Dejanews, Bellsouth.net, Worldcom.net, UUNet.com, At&t Worldnet, Popsite.com, Megapop.com, MSN.com, and several others. Almost EVERY one of these accounts was purchased with one of his victim's credit cards. FACT: Arthur H. Schwartz has used "remailers" to forge postings as being from individuals who have spoken out against his scam. FACT: Arthur H. Schwartz uses the "tactic" of first making claims that an individual who speaks out against his scam is mentally unstable. Art will then post messages threatening to sue for slander. He claims that his lawyer(s) will be contacting the person soon to file charges for slandering his "good company". The only lawyer Art has spoken with was a public defender in his own case after he was charged with fraud. Speaking of his threats... ARTHUR'S "SCARE TACTICS"
After personally witnessing many of Arthur's threats of "slander" cases being brought up against those who expose his scam to the public, I got curious enough to ask my Attorney. Here is the resulting post I made shortly after receiving her response: Arthur doesn't have a "slander" case on anyone according to her. she defined a couple of other possibilities, neither of which i will mention here because artie might turn around and start using these actualities as threats... she took a peek at his site, and seeing what the scam is that he's trying to get away with, he doesn't have a leg to stand on legally. he could *attempt to fire off his legal 'pistola', but it would backfire on him. BIG TIME. she compared it to a drug dealer calling the cops because someone ripped off all his 'inventory'. btw: here's a suggestion she made, verbatim from her e-mail response: "If you've been scammed by him (i.e. he's taken your money or charged to a credit card and not sent what he was supposed to) then report it to the local police where you live, and if that doesn't go anywhere, call the State Attorney Generals office and the U.S. Attorney's office. If you aren't the one being screwed, get the people who are being screwed to contact the above agencies. And, keep pushing. another avenue would be to contact the companies of the software he is pirating and give all the information to them. They'll sue him, and they would surely pursue criminal charges." also, since i am disabled personally and don't even have as much as two cents to my name, she poses the following for my particular case: "Of course, YOU are basically judgement proof anyways since you have nothing to sue for. No attorney will take a case against you." Ahhhh... One's got to love an attorney that swaps out legal advice and representation for web design. ;)) please select a page: [ 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | url list ]
